Road Access Heading to Kota Tua Closed

West Jakarta Sub-dept. of Transportation closes road access heading to Kota Tua, Taman Sari. It is applied in order to anticipate crowd during New Year’s Eve.
The road closure is applied since 7 PM up to 3 AM. Now the area is sterile
West Jakarta Sub-dept. of Transportation’s Operation Handling Section Head, M. Wildan Anwar, said Kota Tua is totally closed, while the traffic from Jalan Gajah Mada - Jalan Asemka - Jalan Kali Besar Timur are diverted to Jalan Kopi and Jalan Kampung Bandan.
“The road closure is applied since 7 PM up to 3 AM. Now the area is sterile,” he said.
1,000 Personnel Prepared to Secure New Year's EveAccording to him, his personnel together with Satpol PP, Army and Police keep guarding the area. Moreover, the areas which is directly bordering with Tangerang like Joglo, Kalideres, and CNI are heavily guarded.
“Our 59 personnel are assisted by Satpol PP, Army and Police to guard Kota Tua,” he closed.
